This application helps you perform the exponential calculation of machines with variable sponge tire diameters like F1 and 1/12 racing cars.
* The index means the distance traveled when the motor makes one revolution.
If the index is 50, one motor revolution advances 60 mm.
Unlike the gear ratio, the value changes when the tire becomes smaller.
Shifting to low gear (high gear ratio),
・ Fast acceleration
・ Maximum speed does not increase
・ The burden on the motor reduced
・ Battery load reduced and driving time extends
Shifting to high gear (low gear ratio),
・ Slow acceleration
・ Maximum speed increases
・ The burden on the motor increased
・ Battery load increased and driving time decreases
Please note that there are recommended gear ratios from the manufacturers of the motor and ESC.
